Observing bean curd, as well as ocean life

posted by brad wong on 2009.07.16, under video, wow

This soothing, beautiful video is the work of Jon Rawlinson, who was generous enough to post it on Vimeo. Thank you for doing so.

I included it largely because I’ve always found the flowing movements of ocean life to be calming. Sometimes, life can get busy.

More importantly, my son, nephew and niece love sitting in front of a huge tank at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California – just as these people stopped at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan.

If you’re in the mood for more ocean life videos, the Monterey Bay Aquarium has a number of them, including one of some orange jelly-like Sea Nettles.

Another video shows an aquarium staff member feeding a Giant Pacific Octopus, which uses its tentacles and suckers to explore.
