This billboard sits above a car lot in Oakland, Calif., the city where my parents were raised.
It’s near the intersection of Broadway and Ridgeway Avenue, near Oakland Technical High School.
Is the sign accurate?
It looks like it, based on information from Microsoft and this San Jose State University economics professor.
UPDATE: Todd Bishop, my former Seattle Post-Intelligencer colleague, found out more information about the sign and has a post at TechFlash.
