Mo Rocca talks about going viral, technology, expectations – and boredom
Comedian Mo Rocca is back with his new program, The Tomorrow Show on CBS News.
Rocca, who has mastered the straight-faced, semi-monotone interview, gained many fans with his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
In this clip, Rocca talks with editor and author Bill Wasik about, oh, wasting time and making things go viral on the Internet.
Wasik has some witty observations on his site – so take a look, um, especially if you’re at work and have time.
As the two note, there’s a feedback loop effect to this revolution of online information.
Technology produces increased productivity. But people have more time to pursue online activities. Expectations rise in new ways.
But wait, wait.
In the clip, they kind of cap on Twitter.
Mo, didn’t you see that your former Daily Show colleague Rob Corddry – or someone going by his name – is using the popular microblogging service?
Here’s the Twitter feed from Mo.
Have a great weekend.
I’ll get back to posting a tofu recipe in the coming days.
