Fox Business Network has an interview with the inventor, Seth Tibbott, who said he started the bean curd substitute because he’s vegetarian.
Jones Soda Co. is giving a nod to the bean curd substitute with a Tofurky and Gravy Soda (plus a metal lunch box with the words “Cirque Du Tofurky” on it).
Recently, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals handed out boxes of Tofurky to people throughout the United States.
On Wednesday, President Obama pardoned a turkey (a real one, weighing 45 pounds), named Courage, and sent it – out of all places – to Disneyland.
The president said Courage will be grand marshal in a Thanksgiving Day parade. He also talked about more serious issues of state.
