Spinning massage balls: Holidays are here
In a way, nothing says that Christmas and the holidays in the United States have arrived like lit, spinning massage balls captured on video, uploaded on YouTube and posted on a tofu blog.
It’s a good marriage of technology, owning a robot (at least for me) and a design that somewhat confounds.
Each year, on my mom’s side of the family, we exchange white elephant gifts – old, quirky items that no one uses – for some laughs. These popped up at our Christmas Eve party.
If the above 40-second video is not mesmerizing enough, I’ve included a second shorter clip that I took with more natural light. These videos also mark the first time I’ve posted my own footage on the blog.
I hope to post more videos as my schedule permits. One nice thing is that I have some free time on Christmas to post these videos, unlike the weeks up to the holiday when I was busy running errands.
My family and I had an excellent Christmas morning. Oh yes, in the video below, the camera shakes just a bit because my son spotted me and decided to jump on my back.
