One image: Washington, D.C. in the 1990s

When my son gets older and asks me what life was like in Washington, D.C. – where I lived for a few years in the 1990s – I’ll point to this image.
I took it in the district’s Chinatown neighborhood.
By West Coast or New York City standards, it’s not that large. But restaurant food was to be found, as were groceries.
At the time, I was interested in the “Disco Dan” words that popped up on walls.
I also liked these guys standing in the parking lot.
