Terms for Visitors

These terms set out the ground rules for using Tofu Watch. Reading the guide means you agree to them. They are written to be short and readable; if anything is unclear, ask us at mail@tofuwatch.com.

What the guides are

Tofu Watch publishes general information about streaming and home television, events and entertainment, films, travel and food, home upkeep and small-business topics. Our articles are written to help you think a decision through. They are not professional advice for your individual circumstances, whether legal, financial, technical, medical or otherwise. Before acting on something that matters, such as signing a contract, buying property abroad or changing a building, check with a qualified person or the organisation responsible.

Things change

Prices, opening times, venue rules, app menus and laws change, sometimes quickly. Each article carries its publication date so you can judge how current it is. We try to keep the archive accurate and fix errors when we learn about them, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete or up to date at the moment you read it.

Outside websites and businesses

Some guides point to outside pages or mention products and services offered by outside businesses. Some pieces were written with the involvement of such businesses. We do not control those sites or companies, and a link or mention is not a guarantee of quality, legality where you live or suitability for you. Any purchase or agreement you make is between you and that business, under its terms.

Streaming and legal use

Where we write about television and streaming, we assume viewers use licensed services and follow the rules of their own country. It is your responsibility to check that any service or device you use is lawful where you are.

Using our writing

The text and layout of Tofu Watch belong to its publishers. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the article, or to share links freely. Reproducing a complete article, posting it on another site or building it into something you sell needs our permission in writing first.

Acceptable use

Please do not try to disrupt the site, scrape it at a scale that affects its availability or use it for anything unlawful.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that arise from relying on the site's content or from using outside websites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Privacy and updates

How we handle personal data is described in Privacy at Tofu Watch. We may revise these terms when the site changes; the version on this page is the one that applies.
